Fresh smash burgers cooked to order on site, 2.5 hours of service, our team with setup and breakdown, and a custom digital menu for your event. About 200 guests in a 2.5-hour window, with extra service time available for bigger crowds.
Setup fee $500 in Ventura County, $800 in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara counties.
Catering Drop-Off
Happy Place food prepared for your group and delivered ready to serve. Family Packs, Party Packs and Big Party Packs. No truck, no setup fee, no minimum.
Best for office lunches, meetings and family gatherings.
What can we serve?
Happy Smash, Western Smash and California Classic burgers in single, double and triple. The Louisiana Spicy Chicken Sandwich, chicken and veggie wraps, and kids meals. Crispy wings, pretzel bites with Hatch cheese, churros, soft serve, nachos, sliders and loaded fries. Sodas and soda floats.
Vegan Happy Smash burgers in single, double and triple, plus a vegan crispy chicken sandwich.

Why Happy Place?
Happy Place started as a food truck in 2022, so bringing good food to people is where we come from. Our restaurant opened on Main Street in Downtown Ventura in October 2024, and VC Star readers voted us Best Burger Eatery in Ventura County.
The goal at your event is the same as it is inside the Eatery. Good food, good energy, and an experience people are glad they showed up for.
How it works

- Request your date. Your estimate arrives by email and text with a link to reopen it any time.
- We confirm and send your proposal. Availability, parking and access, then your final proposal. A $500 reservation payment holds your date and comes off your total.

Does Happy Place Eatery offer catering in Ventura, CA?
Yes. Food truck catering and drop-off catering across Ventura and Ventura County, from our Main Street restaurant in Downtown Ventura.
Do you cater events in Los Angeles County?
Yes. Malibu, Calabasas, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, Woodland Hills, Santa Monica, Burbank, Pasadena and Los Angeles, with an $800 setup fee for Los Angeles and Santa Barbara counties.
Can I book the Happy Place food truck for a private event?
Yes. Private, corporate, school and community events. We confirm venue access and setup on every booking.
What is the minimum for the food truck?
$1,000 in food and beverage Monday to Thursday, and $2,000 Friday to Sunday and on holidays. Drop-off has no minimum.
How many guests can the truck serve?
Everything is cooked fresh, so about 200 guests in a 2.5-hour window. Larger events add service time at $160 per hour.
Do you have vegan options?
Yes. Vegan Happy Smash burgers in single, double and triple, and a vegan crispy chicken sandwich.
Do you offer corporate catering?
Yes. Office lunches, team days, company parties, conferences and client events, by truck or drop-off.
